East Memphis lunch spot Carmela's Caffe to close

Carmela's Caffe will close its doors Aug. 20 as sister restaurant Ciao Bella Italian Grill plans to begin offering lunch.
Carmela's is located in a space adjacent to Ciao Bella Italian Grill at 565 Erin Drive in East Memphis and served lunch Monday through Saturday. Ciao Bella, which operated Carmela's as a separate restaurant, now plans to offer its own menu during lunch.
Ciao Bella will begin serving lunch by early 2012, according to a press release from the restaurant. Founded in 2001, Ciao Bella is a locally owned casual Italian restaurant.
